Chinese and Portuguese personalities celebrate 45 years of diplomatic relations.

A reception was recently held to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Portugal, jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy in Portugal and the Parliament of Portugal. The Chinese ambassador to Portugal, Zhao Bentang, and the president of the Portugal-China Parliamentary Friendship Group, Catarina Rocha Ferreira, attended the event and gave speeches. In addition, a video of Chinese astronauts saluting was shown at the event and a themed photo exhibition was also held.

 

Participants from all spheres of China and Portugal praised the fruitful achievements in bilateral relations and practical cooperation in the past 45 years of diplomatic relations between China and Portugal and were full of confidence in the future development of the Sino-Portuguese partnership.
